So there’s this website that you register on. Kenya SCL (https://kenya-scl.com/) is a new scam that deludes clients with small withdrawals and later closes the chapter and remains with deposits.
According to a review by their client, they give you tasks to do, like downloading some funny apps that remain on the website. So per day, a person earns Sh66.
“After 4 days, you buy jobs from them starting from 2k. I have a friend who’s invested 22k and another one 32k. They were telling me to join, but I feel like it’s a scam,” the prospect added.
“They have never told me whether they withdrew anything yet. However, my cousin had joined it, and it was all about premium tiers,” he added.
How do you know a site is a scam in Kenya?
1. Recent Domain Registration: Common in fraudulent sites.
2. WHOIS Privacy: The site’s owner concealed their identity, a common scam tactic.
This scam is genius in its design. First, they build trust by paying small amounts daily, creating an illusion of legitimacy, and making you trust them. Then, they introduce the “buy jobs” phase to exploit your trust, relying on your friends’ success stories to pull you in.
These scams always appear between December and January. In the month of March, they take every penny and rebrand the same period at the end of the year.
Then they stay incognito again up to December as they figure out the next scam.
Money is hard-earned; avoid any deals that promise to double your cash overnight. They first come and use their loyal proxies through edited screenshots to attract more people. The pap, you are conned; the site is closed and phones are blocked.
