Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua blames the National Intelligence Service (NIS) for misadvising the president about the people's mood regarding the Finance Bill 2024.

Political pundits assert that they now have proof that NIS officers carried out the abductions. "The truthful men have given the sign. Let the resignation letters start coming in: IG, NIS, DCI, CS Interior, PS Interior, and all those scoundrels misleading the President.

" I have listened keenly to both William Ruto & Rigathi Gachagua speech & what the government is saying is; Give us time to plan the NIS & continue dictating you," political analyst reacted over DP Gachagua Statement.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua requests that protesting Kenyan youth nominate a leader or spokesperson to engage in dialogue with the government.

"My instant reaction: President William Ruto could have withdrawn the Finance Bill a few days ago and saved lives. But he was obstinate, and I watched police shoot protesters dead for no reason at all," reacts CNN presenter Larry Madowo.

"The police killed people in the dark last night, and then they came during the day to provoke the citizens. We must demand the immediate resignation of IG Japheth Koome," said former LSk president Nelson Havi.

The DP, Rigathi Gachagua, asked Kenyan youth not to punish MPs who voted 'yes' for the punitive Finance Bill 2024.

He urged Kenyans to call off Thursday protests and asked Ruto to compensate bereaved families and injured protesters.

"We were a popular government. We were once the darlings of the people."

Deputy Rigathi Gachagua applauded President William Ruto's decision to withdraw the controversial Finance Bill, saying dialogue should have been embraced to avoid deadly protests.

DP Rigathi Gachagua said, "I want to urge our young people that they don't have to destroy property to be heard. I urge the public to wait for the next generation's election to express their displeasure."
